Griffith Spring Fest has returned in full bloom, and one of the most stunning attractions this year is the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures! Featuring over 100,000 vibrant oranges and grapefruit, the festival brings more than 70 larger-than-life citrus creations to life along Banna Avenue. Among these masterpieces is a beautiful gondola, carefully crafted by the dedicated staff from Scalabrini Griffith.
On October 14th, an incredible 800 volunteers, including the Scalabrini team, gathered at sunrise to kick off this iconic display. The gondola, sculpted entirely from citrus fruit, symbolizes both creativity and the deep connection between the community and the region’s thriving citrus industry. The Scalabrini staff brought their heart and soul into this creation, showcasing their commitment not only to their residents but also to the local community.
The Citrus Sculptures have been a key feature of Griffith Spring Fest since 1996, and they never fail to dazzle visitors with their artistry and scale. Running until October 26th, the festival is more than just a visual treat – it’s a celebration of Griffith’s vibrant agricultural heritage. Be sure to park at the Griffith Visitor Information Centre and take a leisurely stroll through the citrus sculptures, soaking in the breathtaking displays.
