At Scalabrini Villages, the warmth of the Christmas season is more than just decorations and festivities -it’s about spreading love, joy, and togetherness. This year, our Austral Pastoral Care Sisters took the lead in ensuring the holiday cheer reached every corner of our community.
They brought together a talented staff choir that filled the village with the melodies of beloved Christmas carols. Residents gathered to listen, their faces lighting up with smiles and hearts filled with the spirit of the season. But this event had an extra touch of magic that made it even more special.
Midway through the carols, a heartwarming surprise arrived: a delivery of individually wrapped roses. These beautiful flowers, generously donated by an anonymous benefactor through The Flower Crew, were a testament to the season’s message of giving. Each resident received a rose, a small but meaningful gesture symbolizing love and care.
The combination of carols and roses created an unforgettable moment for everyone involved. As the choir sang through the village, residents clutched their roses, their joy evident in their laughter and applause.
