The new extension at Scalabrini Allambie Heights is designed to enhance life at the village.

A beautiful streetscape, vibrant and rich to the senses, is a hub of social activity, featuring colourful shopfronts including a barbershop, hair salon, library and communication room, wellbeing centre, physiotherapy and massage room, potting shed and a private dining room for residents to use for gatherings with friends and family.

Stage 2 of the refurbishment, due for completion in September 2020, includes a café, which will be the heart of the village community, a BBQ area, and a bar for Friday afternoon happy hour. A Nonna’s kitchen, taking pride of place is where residents will participate in cooking sessions to show off their favourite dishes.

In keeping with Scalabrini’s Italian heritage, great food is a priority at Scalabrini Allambie Heights; breakfast, lunch and dinner is freshly prepared each day in the village kitchen, using quality ingredients and choices of both hot and cold menu items.


Our resident wellbeing initiatives are guided by the individual needs of our residents and supported by a full wellbeing calendar and dedicated wellbeing team.

Fees & Charges

There are 4 types of fees payable.

1) Accommodation Fees

Delux Single Rooms

There are 3 payment options

  • Payment Option 1
  • Lump sum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) of $1,005,000
  • Payment Option 2
  • Pay as you go non-refundable Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) of $117.95 per day*
  • Payment Option 3
  • A combination of a RAD and DAP, the proportion is up to you. eg $210,000 up front (20% RAD) and $94.63 per day* (80% DAP)

Single Rooms

There are 3 payment options

  • Payment Option 1
  • Lump sum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) of $850,000
  • Payment Option 2
  • Pay as you go non-refundable Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) of $95.48 per day*
  • Payment Option 3
  • A combination of a RAD and DAP, the proportion is up to you. eg $170,000 up front (20% RAD) and $76.38 per day* (80% DAP)

Share Rooms

There are 3 payment options

  • Payment Option 1
  • Lump sum Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) of $550,000
  • Payment Option 2
  • Pay as you go non-refundable Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) of $61.78 per day*
  • Payment Option 3
  • A combination of a RAD and DAP, the proportion is up to you. eg $110,000 up front (20% RAD) and $49.42 per day (80% DAP)

The actual amount of the fees and payments will depend on your personal situation, the time you enter care, the information you provide to the relevant Australian Government Departments, and your personal and financial information at the time of the assessment. 

Meet Our Village Manager

Michael Diaz

Michael is a skilled executive with more than 20 years of progressive business experience. He has spent a considerable amount of time developing skills in implementing and controlling administrative procedures in a range of sectors including the Aged Care Industry, and exploring strategic issues connected with the business.

Michael has an engineering background with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie University.
