Meet the Management Team
Chief Executive Officer
Elaine has extensive leadership experience in the design and delivery of strategic people, learning and culture solutions in the private, public and not for profit sectors in both the United Kingdom and Australia.
She has held senior HR leadership roles within the aged care industry including UnitingCare and Catholic HealthCare and is passionate about translating organisational strategy into aligned and practical business and HR solutions.
Elaine has worked with Boards, executives and teams to deliver transformational change through people. Elaine has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and HR post graduate qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK.
Chief Financial Officer
Natalie joined Scalabrini in November 2016.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and brings with her over 10 years’ experience in executive roles.
Natalie is a results driven, internationally experienced CFO with a chartered and commercial background with ASX and Top Tier companies. She possesses a depth of experience in the hospitality, retail and entertainment industries with a track record in Project Management, Marketing, Sales and IT.
Director of People, Learning and Culture
Kate leads the People Learning Culture team whose purpose is to connect our diverse groups of talented employees to its residents and families in a workplace where people learn and grow.
Possessing over 20 years in diverse HR roles with the last 10 years in health and aged care, Kate most recently held the People and Communications Director position at Esita Health, and prior to this served for 5 years as Bupa Aged Care HR Director and Corporate Affairs Director. Kate has also completed a number of consulting roles with Uniting, Opal Aged Care and Pulse Health.
Kate holds a Degree in Business and Economics and Post Graduate Diplomas in Education and HR.
General Manager Operations
Alasdair is well known for his professionalism and extensive experience in Residential Aged Care. In 2005 Alasdair came into aged care and was employed as the Operations Manager of Residential Aged Care for St Vincent De Paul Society.
With the acquisition of that organisation by Catholic Healthcare in 2007, Alasdair worked initially as a Regional Manager, then became the Chief Operating Officer for their 38 residential aged care facilities for over five years.
Prior to this, he had been employed in a number of senior nurse manager roles at St George Hospital for a number of years.
Alasdair qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1989 and since that time has obtained tertiary qualifications in health administration, public health and law.
Director of Clinical Governance & Quality
Tracey has extensive experience in senior executive roles in Nursing and Healthcare spanning clinical and educational portfolios.
She has held the Director Clinical Governance and Quality roles at both Scalabrini Village (current) and UnitingCare (2012-2014) and was Aged Care Consultant and Learning and Development Manager, ARV/Anglicare (2015-2016). Tracey was the CEO of The College of Nursing (2007-2012) where she was instrumental in the successful merger of TCON and RCNA to create the Australian College of Nursing.
Tracey is a Registered Nurse, holds a Masters Degree in Adult Education and Graduate Certificates in Experiential Learning and Orthopaedic Nursing respectively.
She sees the key to optimal resident/client outcomes is a well-educated, adaptive and continuously developing healthcare workforce that embraces evidence-based practice and innovation.
General Manager Sales & Marketing
Ina has extensive sales and marketing experience within a number of industries including private hospitals, radiology, pharmaceuticals and branded food manufacturing.
Prior to joining Scalabrini in August 2017, Ina worked within the private hospital sector as Group Business Development Manager for Pulse Health Ltd, an ASX listed company. As a member of the executive team, Ina’s primary responsibility was to deliver the group’s strategy for business growth.
Prior to this, Ina spent 8 years at I-MED Radiology, where she was head of the NSW/ACT sales and marketing department, supporting a business portfolio of over $150M.
Ina holds a Bachelors’ of Chemistry and a Masters’ of Marketing.
General Manager – The Village by Scalabrini
Fiona has 25 years’ experience in Aged Care, palliative care and dementia care and extensive experience in management, education and leadership roles in the Aged Care Industry.
She is passionate about embracing best practice in Aged Care and has participated in research in pain management, dementia care and workforce development to improve care services throughout the industry.
Fiona has served as a Board Member of the NSW Community Services and Health ITAB, on the ACS Learning and Development Committee and Ministry Advisory Committees in relation to workforce needs of the Aged Care Industry.
With a firm belief in community and a commitment to innovation and excellence, Fiona believes that with residents, families and staff working together ‘we can achieve anything’.
Village Manager – Allambie Heights
Michael is a skilled executive with more than 20 years of progressive business experience.
He has spent a considerable amount of time developing skills in implementing and controlling administrative procedures in a range of sectors including the Aged Care Industry, and exploring strategic issues connected with the business. Michael has an engineering background with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie University.
Village Manager – Austral
With over 12 years’ experience in residential aged care, Mohini joined Scalabrini Austral as a Registered Nurse in 2011.
In her six years at Scalabrini Mohini has worked in many roles including as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Care Manager.
Mohini completed her Graduate Certificate in Aged Care in 2015 and has spent a considerable time developing her skills in clinical care, palliative care, and wound management.
Mohini strongly believes in the importance of embracing the individuality of every resident in order to optimise their living experience. She has played a pivotal leadership role in embedding the Sono Io culture across Scalabrini in Austral.
Village Manager – Bexley
Originally from India, Isha very proudly calls Australia her second home. She views herself as a forthcoming female leader with strong professional qualities and a passion for health service delivery – all with a warm humanistic approach. Isha is fascinated by people and finds great pleasure in empowering teams, shifting paradigms and changing cultures.
Prior to migrating to Australia in 2005 Isha worked as a Dental Surgeon in India. She studied Nursing at Flinders University in South Australia, and upon completion worked within the Public Hospital environment.
She always wanted to learn more and grow, in order to ‘make a difference’. Isha was accepted to the Australasian College of Health Service Executives (ACHSM) Scholarship Program in Sydney – one of the rare Management Programs that marries theory with Practice. Since completion she has been working in aged care and doing her best to bring about positive change.
Village Manager – Chipping Norton
A graduate of the University of Western Sydney, Regina commenced her career with Scalabrini in 2004.
She has held multiple roles within Scalabrini, including Registered Nurse, Nurse Educator, Clinical and Risk Manager and Clinical Care Manager.
Regina is widely recognised as a dedicated and compassionate aged care leader who is passionate about people. She was promoted to the role of Village Manager in 2017.
Regina has 10 years’ experience with palliative care and dementia care.
Village Manager – Drummoyne
Gloria arrived in Australia from Colombia in 2005. Before she came to Australia, Gloria worked as a Registered Nurse in the Public and Community Sector. In Australia, Gloria has over 11 years experience in the Aged Care Sector. She worked as a Registered Nurse and Care Manager at Bupa.
Having been at Scalabrini since 2013, Gloria has completed multiple roles, including a Clinical Nurse Consultant and a Deputy Care Manager. Gloria has a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Management and she is currently studying a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Macquarie University.
Gloria is very passionate about excellence in the quality of care Scalabrini provides, and the importance of embracing person centred care (Sono Io). She is particularly interested in wound management and Work Health and Safety. People who have met Gloria and worked with her, would describe her as friendly, intelligent and goal driven.
Village Manager – Griffith
Elizabeth is a Registered Nurse who has worked in the aged care industry for past 27 years in a number of roles which included being a member of the Aged Care Assessment Team and the Specialist Mental Health for Older Persons pilot scheme.
Elizabeth was the Facility Manager at the Griffith Nursing Home and Margaret River WA and Bendigo Vic. Prior to this she was the Clinical Care Manager at The Pioneers Lodge.
With special interest in Palliative Care and Pain Management, Dementia and Mental Health in the elderly, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience and passion to Scalabrini.
