Scalabrini Village, a not-for-profit, best-practice provider of Residential Aged Care services has been a long-time member of the City of Canada Bay community through our existing Residential Aged Care village on St Georges Crescent.
We are very excited to announce we are increasing our contribution to the local community with our intention to create Australia’s best residential aged and dementia care village on the site of the former Drummoyne Boy’s High School in Mary Street.
Scalabrini Village Drummoyne will strive to incorporate aspects of international best practice for design and delivery of accommodation and care services for the elderly and people living with dementia. This will be particularly beneficial to Canada Bay residents and family members who want to be near their ageing relatives.
We hope to convert the Drummoyne Boys’ High School site into environments and accommodation to truly enhance the quality of life for our residents and set new benchmarks for Australia in the care of those living with dementia. We will be lodging a DA application in the coming weeks.
