Governance

Scalabrini Village Ltd is a company limited by guarantee under Australian Corporation law. It currently has 87 members of the company who approve the constitution, elect the Board of Directors on a bi-annual basis and appoint the company’s auditor. The members are drawn from the Scalabrinian Missionaries and the communities that have supported the work of Scalabrini Village over many years.

Incorporated body

Scalabrini Village Ltd is an incorporated body limited by guarantee. We are also registered as a charitable entity and public benevolent institution. Donations to the company are tax deductible.

Governance structure

Scalabrini Villages is managed by a Board of Directors in conjunction with the Scalabrini Fathers. The Chief Executive Officer is Chris Rigby a highly respected and experienced health care executive. View our management structure.

Each village is managed by a Village Manager assisted by members of the Scalabrian family. The Scalabrian Family is a wide network of staff, members of the religious orders, residents and their families, volunteers and community members, who provide strong support for our villages.

Scalabrini Village is privileged in having over 200 dedicated volunteers contributing in a network of support activities. They are an integral part of the Scalabrini Family.
